Join Us at the harbourside festival!
This summer, the city’s iconic Harbourside will come alive once again with the Bristol Harbourside Festival – one of the UK’s largest free celebrations of music, art, heritage and community. Over three days from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 July, expect live performances, tall ships, dance, circus and conversation that celebrate Bristol’s rich cultural fabric.
At the heart of Sunday’s programme, the Bristol Legacy Foundation (BLF) invites you to an honest conversation about allyship in action. Sunday’s programme at the Expressions Stage has been created in partnership with Diverse Artists Network and the Good Law Project.

This session isn’t just about talk – it’s about reflection and responsibility. Together with guest speakers, we’ll explore:
Where true allyship begins
Who leads the conversation
How to move from performative gestures to meaningful impact
Speakers include:
Asher Craig, Chair of BLF, sharing how we build equitable partnerships in Bristol
Michelle Gayle, bringing insights from The World Reimagined’s corporate allyship training
Nils Agger, discussing grassroots activism with PRALER and reparatory justice movements
Beyond this session, the festival offers everything from live music on the Amphitheatre stage, family playgrounds, dance tents, to on-the-water demonstrations – a real showcase of Bristol’s creativity and community spirit.
The festival, proudly supported by Bristol City Council and local partners, is completely free. All are welcome.
